At Campbell center, we offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced French classes taught by native French teachers. We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes as well as French Ateliers for native or fluent French speakers. All teachers are native French speakers
All students will progress through dialogue recorded by native speakers as well as a great variety of documents used to provide authentic French immersion. The students’ pronunciation and speaking will be practiced in each class.
The Beginner French program helps to build a solid foundation in French through immersion. It is a set of classes which use a comprehensive approach to teaching students the basic skills to interact in French. The program gradually introduces students to the familiar everyday expressions, syntax, and vocabulary used to satisfy practical needs.
The Intermediate French program reinforces both communication and written skills. It is a set of classes which use a comprehensive approach to teaching students the skills to interact in French on a more familiar and personal level. The program gradually introduces students to the syntax and vocabulary used to describe one’s environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
The Advanced French program gives the keys to perfect one’s knowledge of French grammar and practice both oral and written skills through socio-cultural themes. It is a set of classes which use a comprehensive approach teaching students the skills to interact in French on familiar matters regularly encountered in school, work, or leisure. The program gradually introduces students to the syntax and vocabulary used to describe experiences and events as well as hopes and ambitions.
During the summer session, conversational classes for intermediate and advanced levels are offered as an opportunity to practice and solidify the French learned during the more traditional classes.
Our group classes are intentionally small (5 to 12 students) in order to maximize the communication and offer a more dynamic learning environment. They are held once a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm to 8:30pm at Campbell center, 591 W. Hamilton Ave, suite 101, Campbell (entrance in front of Jiffy Lube). Contact us
If you already know some French, you may register any time to these classes. If you are not sure about your level, you can take our free placement test to find out which class is right for you. We will then notify you by email to help you enroll in the appropriate class online. In addition, the instructor will gauge your level during the first week and make a suggestion should another class be more suitable.
You are welcome to try one or two different classes ($30.00 each time, payment by check or cash).
