Private Lessons

7If you prefer more personal instruction, we do offer private lessons (1 to 4 students) at all levels for adults, teenagers and children at times convenient to the students.

Private lessons are customized to target your goals such as:

  • How to read and write in French for French speaking children
  • French grammar according to French academic programs for French speaking children
  • Tutoring for middle and high school students
  • French learning and conversing for adults,
  • French for travelers planning to visit a French speaking country
  • And any other thing you wish to learn in French!

 

You can decide where you wish to take the class. They can be held at your home, workplace, teacher’s home, or the Campbell and Menlo centers. Lessons can be taken any time from Monday through Saturday according to teachers’ availability. However, lessons at Menlo Park center must be between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm from Monday to Thursday.

Prices vary according to the area as well as the number of students attending the lesson.

Lessons are sold per non-refundable six-hour package. A package is required to be paid in full before booking a lesson.

All lessons of a package must be scheduled within a six-month period starting from the purchase date. As a courtesy to our teachers, a twenty-four hour notice must be given if a lesson is to be missed and rescheduled or the fee will be forfeit.

Students are required to become Alliance Française members. If you don’t have a membership yet, please remember to buy one while ordering your lessons.

If you wish to take private lessons, please contact the Director of Registration to check if a teacher can be available at your preferred time.

Once you are assigned a teacher,please buy your lessons package and a membership before the first class.
