ARNAUD BERGEROL was born and raised in France. In 1989, he graduated from the University of Paris I Sorbonne in Economics and Applied Foreign Languages. In 2013, he earned a master degree in French at San Jose State University. He has taught French as a foreign language since 1996 and has also over 20 years of experience as a linguist for major software companies in the SF Bay Area. Currently he teaches also at San Jose State University.
DELPHINE HOUSSIN, originally from the Bordeaux region, Delphine was an elementary school teacher for 14 years in France. She graduated from the Université de Créteil with degrees in educational science and in technical commercialization. She has taught children and adults since moving to the US, in Miami for four years and in Santa Cruz for two (Language Institute). Delphine was a fitness instructor at Toadal Fitness for two years. She is certified Adult CPR by the American Red Cross, plays the piano, and studied dance for seven years growing up. Teach private lessons, adults or children.
FLORENCE THOMAS, French born, she traveled and lived through her youth in cities around the world such as Djibouti and Cayenne. She moved to the Bay Area in 1996 and joined Alliance Française Silicon Valley in 2001. She teaches at all levels, both group and individual classes. When she is not teaching, she is most likely baking, reading or enjoying the great Californian outdoor.
FABRICE HUBERT, originally from the Maubeuge region, graduated from Lille University with a degree in Biochemistry. He has been teaching French and Spanish in Santa Cruz since 2002, primarily elementary age children with Santa Cruz city schools since 2008 (Delaveaga) and Education Française Monterey Bay (EFMB) and French Education in the Bay Area (EFBA) since 2012. Fabrice is a natural linguist, learning Chinese, and Portuguese to navigate both cultures during his travels. Fabrice also earned a practical nursing certification before moving to the US. Teach private lessons, adults or children.
MARIE ANNICK BONMARIN was born in Congo and raised in France. In 1976, she graduated from the University of Grenoble with a degree in Business Management and taught Economics and Mathematics thereafter. Marie Annick has two passions : teaching and aviation. Hence she pursued a career in the aviation industry and has eventually built over 30 years of experience holding various corporate positions all over the globe. In 2012, she moved to the Bay Area and found herself going back to her old passion of teaching. She obtained her FLE diploma and taught at San Francisco French Alliance in 2014 and then now in Silicon Valley.
STEPHAN DE GERY was born and raised in Bordeaux. He settled in California in 1987 and taught French, from 1993 to today, from very beginners to high levels in Berlitz, Palo Alto (Teacher of the year, 1999), in Languages Studies Institute, Palo Alto (coordinator of the French Department), and joined the Alliance Française Silicon Valley in 2004, and the Alliance Française of San Francisco in 2005. Stephan is part of the Menlo Park team since January 2015. He is a certified DELF/DALF Examiner.
SYLVIE LEGON is a native of Voiron, in the French Alps. She earned a Masters degree in French as Foreign Language in Grenoble. Since she arrived in California 20 years ago, she has been teaching French to adults, teenagers and children. She has been an active participant with the Alliance Française Silicon Valley for well over a decade.
CHANTAL ADAM-BLOSSE was born in France, but raised in Madagascar during twenty years. After an extensive scholarly course with multiple Master’s degree; Chantal studied at the Alliance Francaise de Paris to teach French Foreign Language (F.L.E.). Since 2012, I teached french at AFSF, AFSCV, FAIS, LFSF, NDV.
