Our Guide: Philippe Maillet

Passionate about art history, Philippe Maillet embarked on a journey that led him to specialize in Islamic arts at the Sorbonne University. His studies focused on the blending of cultures and the architectural crossover between France and North Africa. With experience in the protection and restoration of Islamic heritage, Philippe expanded his knowledge at the School of Architecture of Paris-Belleville. He later pursued classical studies at the prestigious Ecole du Louvre, where he delved into musicology and conservation. Philippe's dedication to art led him to work at the Antoine de Galbert Foundation, collaborating on the setting of the Ann Hamilton temporary exhibition. With over a decade of experience in promoting contemporary art and making it accessible to a wide audience, Philippe decided to return to his passion for ancient periods and artifacts, becoming a lecturer to guide diverse audiences in museums. Through his work with Point Parole agency, Philippe has been involved in notable institutions such as the Louvre, Orsay Museums, and Versailles Palace, reconnecting society with its heritage and bridging the gap between the past and the present.

Don't miss this exceptional opportunity to unlock the secrets of Versailles and gain exclusive insights into the lives of the monarchs who once graced these hallowed halls. This virtual tour promises an unforgettable blend of history, technology, and storytelling.
