Ciné-Club: Ne le dis à personne/Tell No One (2006)

This suspenseful, mystery thriller, based on a novel by Harlan Coben, tells the story of pediatrician Alexandre Beck who still grieves the murder of his beloved wife, Margot, eight years earlier. When two bodies are uncovered near where Margot’s body was found, the police reopen the case and Alex becomes a suspect again. The mystery deepens when Alex receives an anonymous email with a link to a video clip suggesting that Margot is somehow still alive and a message to “Tell No One”.

The film won four César Awards in France: Best Director (Guillaume Canet), Best Actor (François Cluzet), Best Cinematography and Best Music Written for a Film.

The bilingual introduction and the discussion will be led by Hélène Laroche Davis, Professor of Film Studies.
