Join us for Alliance Française Silicon Valley’s final walk of the year, a festive Christmas Nature Walk and Picnic, led by the wonderful Thomas Celerier. This joyful outing is your chance to wrap up the year with an adventure into nature’s embrace, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the holiday spirit!

Monte Bello Open Space Preserve offers a tranquil escape, with its rolling hills, vibrant vegetation, and the chance to encounter wildlife in their natural habitat. Keep your eyes peeled—you might just spot graceful deer wandering through the trees!

This scenic 3-mile loop begins with a gentle 1.5-mile climb, offering sweeping vistas of the preserve. From there, the trail meanders downhill, unveiling lush greenery and panoramic views that make every step a delight.

Our journey leads to the Black Mountain Backpack Camp, where we’ll take a well-deserved break to savor a festive picnic surrounded by nature’s beauty. It’s the perfect setting to relax, refuel, and share some holiday cheer with fellow adventurers.
