La Fine Fleur/ The Rose Maker (2020)

This colorful and touching comedy is about Eve, an independent rose farmer who inherited her father’s flower nursery near Paris and takes desperate measures to stay in business. She hires three outcasts with no experience in gardening but strong work ethic. Eve and her new team of misfits discover unexpected sources of inspiration and personal connection. Observing beauty, the characters grow and develop.
The bilingual introduction and the discussion will be led by Hélène Laroche Davis, Professor of Film Studies.
